THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR
Life has been good for the officials of Wonglepong, an outback Queensland town in the 1970s. Extortion, bribery, neglect of duties and purposeful mismanagement have been thriving for many years. But suddenly their way of life is threatened by the news that a government official is travelling incognito on a secret mission to investigate their district. A flurry of activity ensues to cover up the considerable corruption and misdeeds of the town, interrupted by a report that a suspicious person has in fact been staying at the pub for almost a week now鈥�
